anything he wants and that everything in Trumps possession was declassified and not in violation of the espionage act.

Also says Wray and Garland should be impeached and that the raid was unlawful.

He’s the one who wrote the opinion piece for Newsweek that someone posted earlier.

A recent tweet: “Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Biden DOJ are illegally (and selectively) leaking grand jury material and content from the affidavit.

But they don't want the affidavit released.

Because they know they're caught doing a political hit job on their boss's political enemy.”

There’s multiple videos, tweets, and articles so I’m just going to link his Twitter page: LINK

anyone with a cleared job would tell you as part of your training you learn the president is the ultimate classification authority. Don’t know what’s controversial.

Well I would think he might have an insight into how Gorsuch would think and that is important, there's a good chance this is where fhis ends up in front of the justices.

Whoever this man is married to is one lucky lady. OMG in today's political discourse few have the balls to speak like this-THE TRUTH!:swoon: what a man what a man what a mighty mighty man!
quote:

It is routine for any Office of the Former President to negotiate with the National Archives. The Archives could have also alerted Congress. The Biden Justice Department could have filed a civil lawsuit. Or the Biden Justice Department could have sought more subpoenas. Instead, DOJ went nuclear, with its unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful home raid—even knowing Trump had already been holding these records at Mar-a-Lago for 18 months. So why now?

To put this in perspective, former President Bill Clinton stole more than $190,000 in china, flatware, rugs, sofas, and other personal gifts from the White House. The Clintons eventually caved to public pressure and paid $86,000 for the items. There was no FBI raid.

Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton set up an illegal home server containing some of our nation's most classified records. She openly admitted to stealing and destroying records herself, putting our national security at risk. There was no FBI raid. In fact, the FBI never even questioned her.

To add insult to injury, the Biden Justice Department obtained this unprecedented, unnecessary, and unlawful home raid warrant from U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart of West Palm Beach. Reinhart had just recently recused himself on June 22, 2022, in Trump's civil lawsuit against Hillary Clinton. What's more, in 2017, Reinhart blasted Trump's integrity on Facebook: "Donald Trump doesn't have the moral stature to kiss John Lewis's feet." So, what changed over the last two months to make Reinhart's clear judicial bias (somehow) go away?

FBI Director Christopher Wray recently testified that the FBI was too busy to stop dangerous and illegal intimidation campaigns outside Supreme Court justices' homes. This was after an attempted assassin was thankfully arrested outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh's home. The FBI apparently didn't have the time to investigate actual threats to the lives of constitutional officers, but it had plenty of time to raid the home of a former president over an 18-month-old records dispute—with which Trump publicly stated he was fully cooperating.

Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Chris Wray, the Biden National Security Division, and the rest of the Biden DOJ are dangerously blinded by their obsession with President Trump, his aides, and his supporters.

They missed this Iranian terrorist attack in America: LINK

Attorney General Garland attempted to defend the indefensible in his political press conference last Thursday. Garland left more questions than answers. As a former federal judge and prosecutor, he should be ashamed of himself for so recklessly politicizing the Justice Department. And the politicized, highly inappropriate, inaccurate leaks out of the Justice Department about the underlying grand jury investigation further demonstrate the Biden regime is out of control in its pursuit of punishing a past and likely-future political rival of President Biden.

House Republicans must impeach Attorney General Garland and FBI Director Wray for their unprecedented and destructive politicization of the Justice Department, when they reclaim power in January. And over the long term, House and Senate Republicans must dismantle and rebuild the FBI, so political raids like this never happen again. We cannot allow our law enforcement agencies to become third-world political hit squads.

I realize this & know it’s backfired. What I don’t get, did they think no one would notice, or they wouldn’t get called out? It’s just so blatantly ostentatious. I’m not sure I understand their play here. I know they’re trying to get him out, keep him from running, but did they just not think this through, or thought they’d get more support?

I know we give them shite, and rightfully so, but are they just not that smart?
Garland isn’t this dumb, right?

Is this some 4 double D chess being played? A friend of mine, who is intelligent & sane thinks Garland wants Trump back & new this would increase his popularity, & rating. Garland is a Trump mole, & he believes with all his heart.

nah.
there are layers for the ts sci. atomic energy commission. dept of defense.

your law clerk flunks common sense. no one person can reclassify. the trail of who all needs to know and maybe say wait a minute is atomic energy and defense.

I love the bottom line.
if the supreme court agrees with your clerk its so.

Not for the President.

All authority to classify/declassify any documents under the executive branch flows from the Office of the President, this comes from the Constitution setting the President as the chief executive as well as the commander-in-chief of the armed forces.

There is no other source of such authority. Period.

This authority is delegated by the Office of the President, by delegating it is not abdicated.

Feel free to quote many any law which states differently though. Meanwhile, feel free to peruse Department of the Navy vs. Egan.

quote:

The President, after all, is the "Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States." U.S.Const., Art. II, § 2. His authority to classify and control access to information bearing on national security and to determine whether an individual is sufficiently trustworthy to occupy a position in the Executive Branch that will give that person access to such information flows primarily from this constitutional investment of power in the President, and exists quite apart from any explicit congressional grant.

quote:

The authority to protect such information falls on the President as head of the Executive Branch and as Commander in Chief.

Then why were the documents still marked as classified?
