You've been corrected about this multiple times. At this point you are a dishonorable liar.

Care to expound

Perhaps with actual law to support your assertion

Ochsner is up Oct 29. Oct 1 and Oct 8 are the dead lines for your first of the 2 shot doses. J&J has until Oct 29 but is hard to find.

Nola health care systems are following. In fact, Biden is pushing for anyone taking Medicaid and Medicare to have their staff fully vaccinated.

Interesting times ahead

The mass termination of unvaccinated hospital system employees is among the largest of its kind to date. More than 150 health-care workers who did not comply with a vaccine mandate at Houston Methodist — one of the first health systems to require the coronavirus shots — were fired or resigned in June

I'm 100% against forcing anyone to get vaccinated.

That being said, this has more to do with Joe Biden's mandate than hospitals just following along.

Back on Sep. 9th the mandate read:

the White House announced that it will require COVID-19 vaccination of staff within all Medicare and Medicaid-certified facilities

So Joe knew how to make all hospitals fold. Tie the mandate to funding.

Any inside information on whether or not the mandate gets dropped before the 29th? I figured they might not go through if enough people hold out.

I doubt it. At first I thought it was a big game of Chicken. But with other NOLA heath care systems getting on board, Biden's push for mandates, and WT ego in play, I highly doubt they back off. 80% was their goal and that goal has been reached. I feel they calculated a 20% loss early on and were fine with it.

Will see.

They can’t file unemployment if they were fired. I mean they can file it but they won’t get any payments due to them being fired

It will be interesting to see the potential effects of losing employees. Even a 1% loss is a large number for Ochsner. And I have a feeling they didn't accept very many exemptions at all.

Health systems are likely scared shitless that Medicare and Medicaid won’t pay if they don’t meet vax thresholds.

What I think we may see is a number of hospitals offloading patients for those programs to other hospitals as not to deal with the bullshite.

ERs may not have the ability to do this easily because of legal reasons, which is why many are huge money losers now. Any hospital with the ability to be selective on patients? They may do this simply to be rid of massive headaches.
