Trump isn’t capable of doing this in a clear and concise way. This isn’t popular to say here but he’s also lost a step since 2016. There were several moments in the debate last week that 2016 Trump would have pounced on that he missed. He’s so obsessed with “best ever this” “worst ever that”. Newsom would be a serious problem for Trump purely because he’s young and smooth. Our electorate doesn’t give a shite about policy anymore. It’s all a popularity contest.

Maybe Trump knew Biden was going to go up in flames so it didn't matter what he said/didn't say, and in fact may have not wanted to do anything to take the spotlight off Biden - but he wasn't prepared the way he would have to be in a debate against someone that doesn't have dementia.

This hs all the markings of the struggles of a man going through some form of mental decline. At times, aware of their situation, and other times, unaware.
Anyone who’s dealt with someone who is battling mental decline whether it’s Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia knows that they can be obstinate at times and very complicit other times. The stubbornness can be outrageous at times too.
I’ve seen it first hand and one thing is clear- you cannot let them make important decisions. They can’t be relied upon to be consistent and often times can be irrational.
Being the American president requires the ability to be consistent and rational. Some very important decisions are posed to the American president. There’s an enormous amount of gravity on the job.
As an American, I have no confidence that Biden can carry that gravity and effectively lead this country. He must stand down.

If you think Trump can beat Newsom I got some bad news for you. Newsom doesn’t need to ‘cheat’ to beat Trump. If they remove Biden it’s over for Trump. He’s finished no matter the opponent and I think deep down most of you know that despite the ‘rigged’ ‘cheating’ ‘fraud’ excuses you will offer up post election.
It's absolutely true even though many people don't want to admit it. As long as you look polished a talk a good game it's enough to convince a majority of uneducated, smooth brained voters in this country that "they guy looks like he knows what he's talking about." Whether you like it or not Trump doesn't come off that way at all. He's not a politician. He's not a good public speaker, and most of the time he goes off on tangents that you can't even follow, most of which are about feeding his own ego. Anyone who can't see it are just sticking their heads in the sand, and it has an effect on a lot of voters. Trump plays great to his base. He does not play great to swing voters.
