Hegseth says no, it shouldn’t be. You aren’t a bunch of individuals out there.
Trying to recruit more women just for the sake of diversity in the military is stupidity.

interesting, if this is the whole story. there was lots of handwringing over this last night on several military social media pages, saying that she was just fired bc she was a woman. this definitely paints a fuller story (again, if it's the whole story or the truth)

usually at that level if they are fired, they just retire. if a colonel or something like that is fired, there is usually an open staff job somewhere they can go work, but there are usually no spots that a 3-star can go fill.

The military committee at NATO is made up of senior military officers, usually three-star admirals or generals, from NATO member countries who represent their chiefs of defense.
