At the very least they should apologize for being dumbasses.
[players protest]
Saints: That's their right and even if we don't agree we should respect it
[military dude refuses an award]
Saints: That is sad and divisive
Seriously, what were they thinking?

It's the typical "nothing we say or do is wrong" all the while condemning those who feel otherwise. Looking at their official page they really don't get it.

The difference is that wells is just some everyday schlub who according to the saints spends his time doing wonderful things
And the saints amidst this whole controversy and after finding him worthy of honor told him publicly to go frick himself
Wells isn’t selling shite for public consumption. The saints are, and doing so using taxpayer money

Yes, NFL players and the Saints should use Trump's political statements as a guide for their business.
Sweet lord, are you on the public relations staff for the Saints?

So his not accepting the award is considered divisive, but yet they don't even consider the possibility that the kneeling is divisive and is what lead to him not accepting the award?
Makes sense

Libs are so deranged and pissed off about trump that they can’t even say the saints are being total choades about this
In fact, they’ve gone a step further...the disabled vet who does charity work is the piece of shite...
I’m sure mason Ginsberg posts on this board. Mason, your twitter feed is hilarious.

Yeah, that's not disrespectful.

I have a different opinion about the kneeling than Wells, but I have no problem whatsoever with his opinion, especially since he conveyed it respectfully. We need more respectful responses like that, and the Saints did the complete opposite. Inexcusable in their part.
