I get the pragmatism. Truly, I do.
It is wrong, it is unjust and is no better than sacrificing children to control the weather.

Disagree. It is objective truth that exploiting vulnerable people is wrong. Letting it go under the guise of National Security is wrong, objectively so.
Will it cause a hell of an upset? Yes. Is holding people and governments to account for horrific crimes easy? No. Will it change the order of things and alliances, probably. Still needs to happen.
This is beyond wanting to know if Jimmy Kimmel and Prince Andrew diddled minors... people need to pay for what they've participated in. Whether they set it up, managed it, sold info, bought info, sexually participated, financed it or covered it up. They need to pay.

Because you have it backwards.
You somehow think exposing israel’s connection is what threatens our relationship with israel.
Norm wrote a great joke about people like you.

I know exactly why, we didn't want a bunch of Jews invading our country after WWII, so we supported their invasion of Palestine to have somewhere else for them all to go.
But now our politicians are at the mercy of the Zionists behind AIPAC.
We've had a strong relationship with Saudi Arabia longer than we've had with Israel. And we certainly wouldn't need Israel if we hadn't have destroyed Iraq's military that was a counter balance to Iran.
I'm really not sure what all you think we get from all of our military aid to Israel.

Because the advantage is built of the abuse of young women and girls. Some people, myself included, don't care for that type of 'advantage'.

Much appreciated.

I think it is too. They don't. If they are willing to do things like that, what must we do in order to exist amongst multiple nations willing to do the same? It's not pretty business, but it is necessary to maintain global power on the scale that we currently have.
I'm not against releasing most of the list. People should absolutely be tried and put to death or imprisoned forever.
I don't want to see us not be able to put aerial refuelers over Israeli airspace if we get into a conflict with Iran. That is the type of advantage I am talking about us having from keeping Israel as an ally. We need that ability to project military force worldwide.

Letting it go =/= war. There are other ways to punish them for doing these things on a national level. On the individual level? They can all get fricked. The general public doesn't need to know every last single detail, though.
Also, morality is not objective, or else nobody in the ME would be fricking goats and arranging marriages with 9 year olds as a result of their religious ancestors' habits.

It DOES need to happen. You're absolutely right. Everything should not be addressed by burning shite down. International response, and by relation some domestic responses, require a calculated strategy for the long-term, not the short.

Couldn't agree more with that any more. Individual justice is not the same as international relations justice.

What if Trump, who has to know the list by now and have been in presence of it at some point between his two terms, is using it as leverage in this trade balance with the world and with Israel and Hamas?
Between the Diddy stuff and the Epstein list, does it give him strong arm leverage over both the FBI and CIA to use as strong arm leverage around the world?
Trump has dirt on Obama, Biden Crime family, all Epstein Clients including the Clintons, Fauci with RFK on board, Gates, Jan 6th truth, Russiagate bullshite, and many other leaders globally.
If you combine that with the idea that there literally could be some form of national security concerns with the details causing a societal riot, trade fallout globally, etc
Maybe there’s more to all of this.

They're not protecting the Prince, but American politicians and such.

Trump pulls levers of power now. What leverage does he need, now?

It has been almost 7 years. How could any of this be in courts to bar it from getting out?

Not built off of it. We were in this militarily advantageous position with Israel before the Epstein saga.

Obviously not, because...

we didn't want a bunch of Jews invading our country after WWII
This is the dumbest post I have seen in a while, and I've been arguing with SFP and RogertheShrubber.
It's also extremely discriminatory and hateful, based off of...
quote:
so we supported their invasion of Palestine to have somewhere else for them all to go
This comment. Take a lap, grandpa. Where you choose to take it is up to you, but I have a feeling it will be in early 1940s Germany.
quote:
But now our politicians are at the mercy of the Zionists behind AIPAC.
Yup. Sure. Israel is the ONLY foreign nation exerting influence on our elected leaders. Make it 2 laps.
quote:
We've had a strong relationship with Saudi Arabia longer than we've had with Israel
Such a good relationship that they killed 3,000 American citizens in an hour and a half in 2001...
quote:
And we certainly wouldn't need Israel if we hadn't have destroyed Iraq's military that was a counter balance to Iran.
Still would need their airspace in a conflict with Russia, other ME nations, or South Korea.
quote:
I'm really not sure what all you think we get from all of our military aid to Israel.
Yup, you understand nothing regarding foreign relations and military advantage necessity.
How fricking wrong can one person be? Discriminatory AND ignorant is not usually by accident... but then there is you. (Emphasis on "accident".)

Yes, Americans were immediately following WWII. You should actually try to learn something about that time, and then maybe you'd have a bit more to contribute to the discussion instead of just knee-jerk personal attacks.
I'm sorry you're completely ignorant of the fate of the Jews following WWII. At the time, the US was extremely antisemitic.
quote:
Israel is the ONLY foreign nation exerting influence on our elected leaders.
I'm sorry you feel that way, but you're wrong. AIPAC might have a disproportionate influence, but they arecertainly not the only foreign nation exerting influence on our elected leaders.
quote:
Such a good relationship that they killed 3,000 American citizens in an hour and a half in 2001...
That was not a state-sponsored attack, while the attack by Israel on the USS Liberty, in international waters, was a state sponsored attack.
But yes, we have very good relations with Saudi Arabia.
quote:
Still would need their airspace in a conflict with Russia
First of all, no we don't, Turkey is much closer and a NATO ally.
Second of all, can you please make 0up your mind about whether Russia is a threat or not?
quote:
...and South Korea
quote:
How fricking wrong can one person be?
It all starts with your total lack of knowledge.

Setting aside the rage from the Woke Right and the trolling from the Woke Left....
Let's pretend there is an actual National Security threat. What could it be?
CIA/FBI was using videos to blackmail US politicians and billionaires.
CIA was using videos to blackmail 5 Eyes/14 Eyes, Arabs, etc. into bending the knee on wars, globalism, killing nationalist movements.
Mossad was using videos to blackmail the world.
Something else?
What would be the threat? Exposing PM of X country as a sex criminal? Exposing the actual blackmail transactions of our own government?
I realize since 2001 the feds have used "National Security" as a blanket cover up tool, just trying to understand what these perceived threats could be.
Also, the sources I have read said there would be redactions that protect the girls who were abused and other stuff that was a National Security threat. I did not see anything official that said "No Names Will Be Revealed" that just seems to be a Woke Right creation.

This toothpaste isn’t going back in the tube.
Bondi, Kash even Trump have campaigned on it for way too long.
I’m not saying some of the information won’t stay hidden, but they’ll have to release more than they’re planning
