My old man missed Nam by a little, went to mid 70's Germany instead, (this could have had a lot to do with his MOS) and would never have referred to himself as a Vietnam Era Vet. There is no such thing as a Vietnam Era Vet. You were either there or you weren't.
Someone will hopefully check Mr. Phillips out.
