No. We didn't go. Man couldn't go today if we tried with infinitely better technology than the 60s. It was a all a political move and many bought into it. Nasa could have 1 million people working on it in the 60s and none would have ever known it was faked because each one saw a rocket take off, along with seeing and hearing, radio and TV transmissions.

I really hate this argument. Go work in a big corporation and discover how much shvt they hide from you. I used to work at Ford Motor and I didn’t know anything about a Maverick, Ranger, or Mach -E mustang coming up lol.

Absolutely no way it happened. Go to the National Air and Space museum and look at the Lunar Landing Module and other items that supposedly landed on the moon and returned. The technology just wasn't there and you have to be really gullible to look at all of it and believe we sent men there.

We agree with each other. Anyone saying we went to the moon because they worked at Nasa or knew some astro-nots are FOS.

And anyone saying this was a hoax are just as full of shite - or more so.

Because WE are not the ones running off our mouths spouting stupidity - and demanding that everyone else disabuse yourself of all your delusions.

Name one remotely valid rationale for your stupid position - and try to make it sound any different than the flat-earthers.

I have no idea what the basis of this idiocy is. I did have a distant relative once who didn't believe it, but that was over 50 years ago and he was making a biblical defense.

What is your bible?

NASA intentionlly sends petrified wood instead of moon rock to fool the scientist Yeah that won't raise any questions!

Yeah - that was my nomination for the most idiotic statement so far - but then I read about someones analysis based on their personal observations at the museum -

Simple. The observable history of this nation. We've been lied to for decades about everything.

We don't have the technology to get to the moon today if we wanted to and you believed man walked on the moon in the 60s with technology in its infancy.

The only facts are we launched a rocket and sent some people on that rocket. Then sent video transmissions to tvs in households of it live, like a camera crew at a news station. Every person saw a TV show that Nasa wanted them to see.

Yes we do - and we did - we invented the tecnnology.

The reason we have not gone back is political/financial, not from lacking the know-how. The political part comes from the public interest - it was great as a one time 'stunt' - to show the Russkies "look what we did" - but it could not be turned into immediate return on private investment, and movies could write better scripts for entertainment.

But primarily it was financial - the economy was weakening and the promise of space station were not only far in the future but the realization that return on investment for profit was not something anywhere in the foreseeable future.

It was not technology - or ability - it was just practical decision making.

There is no serious rebuttal to the actual fact of the matter wrt lunar landing - zero.

mad?? ==- not even close - I am now in it for the amusement - I have spent 60 years listening to this stuff - always looking or another good laugh.

Over the years, I've had enough personal contact and conversations with NASA employees from the Apollo era, including two moonwalkers, to believe without a doubt that twelve men walked on the surface of the Moon between 1969 and 1972.

My Dad worked on designing the guidance system for the Gemini and Appolo missions, and he visited JPL and Rocketdyne a number of times. He was convinced that we had gone to the moon.

There are lots of telescopic images of the landing sites, foot prints, vehicle tracks and remaining parts for anyone that is curious that a simple internet search will reveal. It is quite a popular place to look for people with big telescopes.

Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) – a NASA robotic spacecraft currently orbiting the Moon – has already captured many images of the landing sites. There also exist a number of third-party evidences that support the genuine truth of the landings.

I have worked as a contractor to those places and more

we did both, went to the moon, and faked it

faked it because we had to beat the russians

we didn't go back because in the 60's people were more expendable,

gov didn't care if they died

now every one is liable for everyone else, lawsuits and all

we had the tech, too
example: 7 layer foil (stuff on the sats you see) is the same as 9 inches of lead for radiation protection
developed late 50's I believe

I have been there too and what I noticed were the two miniaturized Astronauts. Why would they have miniature versions?

I remember t v stations signing on in the morning about their transmitter info and how they were blasting out on so many megawatts of power blah blah blah and their signal would reach maybe 60 miles

Due to the frequency, they are termed "line of sight" signals. They do not usually bounce off of the ionosphere and do not pass through solid objects. If you can see the transmitter tower, you can receive the signal. For a commercial tower with reasonable height, the distance is closer to 90 miles. Also, you needed a lot of transmit power because the receivers sucked at those frequencies. The UHF receiver's front end was a filter into a diode mixer with a LO to downconvert to a VHF difference frequency that fed into the VHF tuner for more gain. Communication to space is still line of sight and the spacecraft does not need to transmit at high power since they use great receivers and even better antennas (like a 60' dish) on the earth side.
