Wear an "I can't breathe in this mask" shirt.

Send an email to the powers that be and make clear references to the recent violence that has been committed by the folks supporting the “movement”. Tell them it makes you fearful and creates a hostile work environment. Go full snowflake on them. Sometimes to beat a snowflake you have to out snowflake the snowflakes. Be sure to forward those emails to your personal email account so you can have access to them and give them to your attorney once they fire you.

I bet if I wore a Trump 2020 shirt, I would be told to go home.

......then wear a Trump 2020 shirt. If you're harrassed then complain to your HR and management. If your HR folks refuse to take appropriate action or if they fire you, sue them for all you can. If they allow the "I can't breath shirts" then they must allow your Trump shirt. To deny you that right would constitute a violation of your freedom of expression under the 1st Amendment.
But I hear some grumblings out there, like it's a private enterprise, they can do what they want. No they can't. They (your management) surrendered that right when they arbitrarily allowed people to make political statements on their person.
Fight!

You may want to review your State's law regarding Title VII. The simple fact is you can directly discriminate against a straight white Christian male until they are around 55+*.

Buy a few CPR kits and just randomly start tackling and administering CPR to your coworkers.

Start filing complaints on the hostile work environment created by those shirts. They have to address your complaints.

Because many companies’ dress codes are illegal and they don’t know it. Talking about for hourly workers.

Is there a lot of gas being expelled at the office?

Because many companies’ dress codes are illegal and they don’t know it. Talking about for hourly workers.
Second, even if it were true, there is a giant missing logical step between "Many companies' policies are illegal" and "Your company's policy is illegal".

You are 100% wrong. Race is a protected class. Gender is a protected class. Religion is a protected class. What race, gender, or religion you are is immaterial. You can't be discriminated against either way, according to explicit congressional mandate, Department of Labor regulations, and Supreme Court jurisprudence.
Either whoever taught you BLAW 20 years ago is a moron, or you weren't paying attention. I'm going with the latter.

Although to be fair, I did put on my MAGA hat the day after the election to mess with some co-workers. Just didn't keep it on all the time.
As long as they allow both I don't see the problem. I just want equality.

quote:Legally, there's no problem if they fire the MAGA guy and keep the BLM guy, or vice versa...as long as it is based solely on their political opinions. Political speech is typically not protected in the private workplace.

However, if they let a person of one race/gender/religion sport political gear, but didn't let someone of another race/gender/religion do the same, they may have a problem.
Ethically, I agree. As long as you are willing to engage in respectful discussions prompted by purposefully antagonistic political attire, wear what you want. Just don't be a bitch if someone asks you about it in the breakroom.

I need to buy one of these shirts so people done judge me for not wearing a mask. They will know I have a medical condition and therefore can't wear a mask.
Posted on 6/28/20 at 8:25 am to Gravitiger
Would you wear this shirt?
Posted on 6/28/20 at 8:25 am to LSUSUPERSTAR
So wear, "I obey the lw, breathing great!" T-shirt.

If you see a hot chick at work wearing an “I can’t Breathe” short is it socially acceptable to give her CPR?
