Your son is not alone . . via other sites (GAB), other nurses are leaving their jobs rather than be forced to take an experimental vaccine.

You start posting regularly on this board just to tell people they need to get the vaxx.

Watch out for traumatic side effects from the vaxx or a relapse, Karma is a bitch.

You should never stick your big nose into the business of others.

Your trashy parents should have taught you that.

When people are in this situation, surely he can find a Dr friend that will close the door, squirt the shot into the sink, and sign his chart.
He would get papers and all would be well.

ps, that's what I'm doing Tuesday

Yeah I’d like to hear OP address this. I’d definitely do this if I could.

Except that people are refusing to get the vaccine.

With everything I've outlined, that shouldn't be surprising but let me add to that a little.

Those of us that do look at it questioningly are most often met with derision (which, sadly, goes both ways), moving of goal posts (see: spike protein movement and lymph node swelling) or an uptick in pressure to "just get vaccinated already or else" (thus the existence of this thread).

Every one of those reaffirms skepticism to skeptics.

quote:

Notice how things are so much better in states with higher vaccination rates?

Are they better? On average, yes, but not quite as much as we are led to believe and definitely not "so much better" (otherwise why mask mandates for places with high vaccination rates and low new case rates). For instance New York, New Hampshire and Virginia have similar vaccination rates yet Virginia is seeing more COVID cases than the other two. Meanwhile Idaho and Wyoming have some of the lowest vaccination rates in the country yet they also have some of the lowest rates of new cases. Then there's West Virginia with it's very low vaccination rate and surrounded by states with higher rates yet it's rate of new cases is lower than any of those surrounding states. North Dakota similarly has a far lower vaccination rate than any of its surrounding states but it too has far fewer new COVID cases than those neighboring states.

Vax tracker by state
7-day NAAT test results by state

And this doesn't explain why there are other countries (like Iceland, Israel or Germany for examples) are seeing high COVID spikes while having very high (well over 50% of the populations) vaccinated.

LINK

This all goes back to my point about the information we get in not being consistent.

And none of this addresses what, for me, is the elephant in the room: that of having absolutely no data on long-term effects because the vaccines aren't even two years old yet.

yeah it kind of is either the vaccine protects you or it doesn’t. This 100 percent participation mentality is a farce

Tell him to come down to the Coast. Better quality of life and he’s likely to get a sign-on bonus. They’re hurting for staff right now.

Well said.

It’s scary that moderate Republican friends on Facebook have become Nazis over this.

But condoms have been around for over a century. We have had adequate testing time for them to prove they do not have long-term negative side-effects.

To be honest, I don't really care if you get the vaccine, but I'm totally on board with hospitals, nursing homes, etc. firing employees who are putting their patients at greater risk than is necessary.

Internet insults are funny. You just throw something out there and hope it lands. You haven't landed anything yet.

Thanks.

With all of my posts on this topic, I'm still of the mind that people who wish to get the vaccine should and (most importantly) I can understand why they do.

I've encountered plenty of pro-vax people who are equally as understanding and respectful, but the majority of people I encounter who are absolutely rabid about their side (to the point of mandates, refusal of medical treatment for the other side, etc) are also pro-vax.

Thanks. I'm sure I would have a similar low opinion of you if I knew more about you. The lazy reference to totalitarianism is a little nugget that not much is happening above your shoulders.

Seems I recall republicans/conservatives contending private businesses can do whatever they want in terms of employment/customers.

So, abide by the rules or go work somewhere else. It's that simple.

I'll interject if I may. The truth is that those folks who are not vaxxed are absolutely NOT putting their patients at a greater risk than those that are. If safety protocols that have been in place are followed there is no difference. The degree of contagious is basically the same between the vaxxed and unvaxxed. This is so much like politics; folks pick a side and run with it. Damn truth or principles.

Again sir, I will state, this is a government hospital not a private enterprise.

You're comparing the amount of virus present in a breakthrough case with the amount present in an unvaccinated person, which isn't the relevant comparison. If vaccinated people are less likely to get infected, then they put the people around them at lower risk.

Yea, I have.

You have a big nose and are sticking it where it doesn't belong.

Again, you only started posting regularly to tell people they need to get the vaxx.

Shut your hole and worry about yourself.
