This is George Washingonesque.

If they follow through like I hope they will, yes.

It is.

If they follow through like I hope they will, they will have as big an impact on this country as Roosevelt did, only in reverse. Whereas he massively grew the federal government in a movement that shaped the trajectory of the next 90 years, planting the seeds that grew into the bloated corrupt behemoth we have now, this bunch could potentially have just as big an impact on putting us on a trajectory to shrink and cleanse it.

I thought Trump did just o.k. his first term.

I wasn't happy about him being the nominee this time.

I was wrong.

He is the right guy for this.

If they follow through on the way they are starting this off—if they get rid of the government bloat and cut trillions off the budget, build the military back up into a fighting machine and kick out all of the wokies and DEI punks, if they strike terror into the hearts of all who instituted lawfare on political enemies and bring the thunder, if they kick all the illegals out and clamp down on the border tight, if they get rid of the DOE and really do facilitate lawsuits against "educators" who groom children into trans nonsense, if they break the stranglehold that the left has on college campuses—Trump will go down as one of the greatest presidents of all time, if not the greatest.

If that happens he will have learned more than I ever gave him credit for being able to learn during his first term.

And just think...if the left hadn't brought false impeachment charges against him (twice), instituted a deliberate misinformation campaign against him that was backed by the media for three years, sent the FBI to raid his home, brought dozens of spurious charges against him and rigged a trial against him, tried to ruin him legally, personally, professionally, and politically, tried to put him in prison, and finally, intentionally left him vulnerable to physical harm and two assassination attempts, including one in which he was actually shot in the head, there's no way he'd be doing all of this.

I'm not even sure he would have run for re-election this time if it weren't for all of that.

Then again, I'm convinced that the only reason he ran the first time is that White House dinner in 2011 during which Obama ridiculed him.

So thanks Left, for picking the wrongest guy in America to 'eff with, and for never learning when to quit.

You FA. Now you are

About.

To.

Find.

Out.

I thought he couldn't win. I wondered if he learned anything from his first term. He's killing it. I wish him God's speed and protection.

Me too.

But more and more I think he's riding a wave of destiny.

I hope, at least, that I am right about that. Because if I am, he can't fail.

Compared to the previous administration with the DEI and trannies?

A Supreme Court justice who doesn’t know what a woman is?

A gay man who likes Choo choo trains?

An elderly woman who thinks inflation is transitory?

It’s such a shame that we have dumbasses like you that don’t know what real leadership looks like. If it were up to you we would leave the retards and trannies in charge. That’s probably because you are yourself a retard.

It is literally traumatizing the left that Trump is basically appointing all normal people. We are all flawed. Jesus died 2025 years ago. He is not caving to the LGQT or DEI crowd. Those people only comprise a small percentage of the population and have been so over represented in the Biden admin that people felt we were be governed by the weirdest amongst us.

Long live President Trump!

Gaetz and Miller are garbage picks.

Gaetz is the only one so far I don't like. I think that guy is a loose cannon.

Even MSNBC agrees that Miller is going to be extremely effective at what he's been tasked to do. Now, they HATE what he's been tasked to do, but even they agree that he's a great pick to do it (see Link).

MSNBC on Stephen Miller

You have no idea how wrong you are with that statement applied to me. I probably have more downvotes from criticizing Trump here than you'll ever get.

But the fact is, he's killing it with these appointments. With the possible exception of Gaetz.

I don't know what's hard to understand about all of this.

You can't put people from inside a system in place to tear down that system.

They are talking about cutting trillions of dollars from the federal budget, getting rid of the DOE altogether, changing the accreditation for colleges to academic standards instead of woke standards, affirmative action, and DEI standards so that they begin to be places of learning again instead of places of indoctrination, facilitating lawsuits against lower school "educators" who groom children and lure them into LGBTQ lifestyles, completely overhauling the entire military and pentagon, reforming the intelligence community and federal law enforcement community, deporting tens of millions of people and locking the border down, keeping the drug cartels from flooding the border with drugs, and the list goes on.

Who would you hire to do those things? People who have gotten along well with the current system?

Or do you think the government is better as it is now, without those things being done?
