I opened up my email to find a notification to update vaccine status.

I find the timing peculiar.

It's happening in Louisiana in the schools. I just got told that I may have to QT unless I am "fully vaccinated." My last shot has to be within last 6.

ETA LAE (the teacher's union connected to NEA-evil teachers union) is quietly urging teachers to push admin to close schools "until this wave passes"

Respond

Under the The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 I am choosing not to include my employer on my healthcare decisions.

Not in the minds of Covidians. We are all going to die according to them.

Last gasps really aren’t about timing. They’re desperation.

The Left isn’t nearly as intelligent as they tell everybody they are. They’re bold af, I’ll give them that. But it’s retarded to push Covid any longer. It’s going to prove that it’s been 80% hoax all along.

They should be leading a national celebration that the potato neutered Covid to take credit for what nature has done. That would be smart/strategic.

What line of work and company size?

Timing is odd with any company pushing it after SCOTUS and actual news reporting the "vaccine" is not working on new strain.

Yup, I got one a couple of weeks ago. And last week they annound a new lottery for vaxxed employees to get the numbers up.
Our facility is at 49%.

Quote:
As the pandemic continues, the most important thing we can do as a business is to ensure the safety of our employees. We continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control for guidance which confirms the safety and efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccine in preventing the spread of this disease.

To encourage this important measure of safety and achieve target vaccination rates, **************** is launching a vaccine incentive program in all North American facilities for supply chain employees who meet the following criteria:

· full-time,

· hourly,

· location-dependent, and

· vaccinated.

The program will run from January 3rd through March 31st. All eligible employees who are vaccinated will be entered in a series of raffles beginning at $1000 and increasing by $500 for each round of target site vaccination % achievement. We will send out incentive program status updates weekly going forward. See below for vaccination rate targets and incentive structure:

Current *** Vaccination Rate: 49%

Target Structure
1st Drawing Target = 65% Plant Vaccination - 10 Drawings at $1000 each
2nd Drawing Target = 80% Plant Vaccination – 10 Drawings at $1500 each
3rd Drawing Target = 90% Plant Vaccination – 10 Drawings at $2000 each

I know you are a teacher and it has to suck right now.

It is funny how different each ISD is as well. Dallas and Garland are pretty much giving teachers 10 days if you get COVID (or think you did ).

My kids ISD in Collin County north of Dallas give teachers 5 days. You want more than that you have to provide proof you are positive still and they do not accept home tests. They want kids and teachers in school, masks are optional. While the Superintendent did push for vaccinations, not mandated. They made at-home learners come back to school last year if they were failing.

I give her credit for putting kids first.

That is sad. If the "vaccines" worked, you would not have to pay people to take them.

My long-term health is more important than $2000

So who’s subsidizing these lottery winnings? Surely not the company. Is the fed paying off CEOs to do this?

so 65% of people get vaccinated and only 10 people benefit from it....im sure you have 100s of people in this plant as well which makes this even more reason not to get it....i hate to tell people/employers $1000-2000 doesnt go a very long these days

Ask what the point of the vaccine is and which one prevents covid and doesn't have potentially deadly side effects.

There are a few very frustrating parts to all this.
1) The rules keep changing. Parents and teachers are following a moving target of what do do.
2) Parents are sending very sick kids to school. That's nothing new, but with COVID it causes a chain reaction.
3) Having to QT non-sick kids.
4) Most of us (at my school) care about the kids and their education. We WANT them in our classes learning.

There are teachers in other places who are good little LAE/NEA/Dem party drones and want schools closed. We get grouped with them.

Since the beginning, I have prepared to be at home/in class for every day. I tell kids if you go home, remote in. We have the technology. Some kids are doing it, others are abusing it.

I have a few kids who have been "close contacts" for over 50 days this school year. It's just a PITA.

They are trying to assess the impact if they impose mandates. If you don't want mandates and you're not vaccinated, you need to report it. If there's a lot of people still not vaxxed, it has the potential of staying their hand.

After the SCOTUS stay of the OSHA mandate, my company said the weekly testing for unvaxxed is gone but they still want us to register our vaccination status. I responded to HR asking why they are going to continue with that policy since it seems the only reason they implemented it was because OSHA required it. I’m waiting on their reply.
