I have no doubt the doctors are not asking. But I bet the nurses doing the admit are.
I have no doubt that some people who are anti vaxx and catch covid most definitely answer yes to the question of "Have you been vaccinated?" if asked by medical personal..

Said yes every single time. Had my fingers crossed ?? behind my back every time.
Why lie? Be proud that you are not and make sure everyone knows.

Not true…my wife is a director at Banner in AZ and they ask the question at every level. I highly doubt there’s a hospital in the entire US that’s not asking the question.
Banner might be asking, but my wife’s hospital in Augusta isn’t. Every hospital is different.

This is what is wrong with American healthcare! We should be allowed to turn people away from the ED. “I’m sorry, an earache cannot be considered a medical emergency, please report to your PCP on Monday.”

Why did you lie?
Why did they ask. It was not relevant to my ear. They did not ask before if I had a flu shot to check in.

that's so true i tell everyone that i'm not vaxxed and they always applaud

It is not in a central database. Whoever gave you the shot maintains their own database (Albertson's, CVS, Walgreens, etc).
This is not true in Louisiana. The providers have their own database, but so does the LA Dept. of Health. All of the pharmacies, etc are reporting the information to the state. Otherwise, they would not be able to add the Covid vaccination status to the LAWallet app.

They aren’t asking most COVID positive patients if they’re vaccinated or unvaccinated
This is incorrect, at least in DFW.

Or simply go to an urgent care clinic/after hours clinic, considering this is the exact type of thing they exist for.

I work in a hospital and read H&Ps of covid patients every day. Every note I’ve read said whether or not they’ve been vaccinated and, if so, which vaccine.

For the sake of science I hope someone is asking.
