I was in the Infantry. politics was very much mixed, libertarian, republican, democrat. My Platoon Leader who I'm still friends with on facebook, he was a very open democrat and also one of the coolest officers I knew in the Infantry. He is also one of the most MAGA as frick guys on my facebook feed.

I knew several foreigners when I was in the Navy. Several guys from West African countries like Ghana and Nigeria were appalled at the behavior of American blacks in general. Actual African immigrants are some of the nicest, hardest working people you will ever meet, and they're very right leaning.

Education, having logical reasons for strange shite and speaking truth to power is terrifying to a wanna be dictator. If you find a group vilifying academia, the press and openly identifying a “them” they are going to be a problem for decent society soon if left unchecked. West Indians also. And I agree they lean right.....but they do not support the GOP because of the GOPs refusal to own the inherent bias of any majority aimed at all minorities. Atlanta has a HUGE African and Caribbean immigrant community. I have been blessed to become very good friends with many of both.... they are the hardest t working people I know, they are staunchly religious whether they be Christians or Muslims and they FEAR government for good reason.....they have seen what government corruption does to society..... they don’t need convoluted conspiracy theories to feel persecuted..... thus they know full well they have no seat in the GOP tent.
Hispanics are equally conservative but find no seat in that tent because the extreme right has all of the chairs.

My experience was that the infantry leaned heavy right and libertarian vs liberal. Probably 80-20 if I had to guess. I think the main cause is that the black population is skewed down in combat arms.

You're going to find that at the official level, the Military is among the most cucked institutions that you'll ever see. There may be resistance to it among lower ranked white males (who are still the majority), but from the O6 level all the way to the SecDef, it's globohomo with guns.
