Just a bushmaster xm 15. It's my first one but I'm going to modify it and upgrade it.

It's fun as hell to shoot though. I know some on here will tremble with anger over those words but I really don't give a fck.

You fricking clown, I have put more rounds down the barrels of M-16s and AR 15s than you can ever imagine.
It leaves a hole exactly 3/1000ths of an inch,larger diameter than a .22,that's less than a human hair.
Yes,it shoots faster and flatter,but that can be a blessing if you get hit by the round,A.22 doesn't exit as easily,and can bounce around inside your skull,tearing your brain to shreds,same inside your ribcage,fricking up internal organs,where the higher velocity,heavier round might drill on through and exit.
The early AR-15s with a slow twist barrel (like I have),are much less stable,and tend to bounce around on impact also,but there aren't so many of these around,They were damn expensive rifles back in the day. Once AR sales really took off,and became more affordable,the rate of twist was increased to help increase accuracy,and allowed to shorten the weapon,so it became more suitable for close quarters use.Urban situations and such.

A kill shot,with either round,is all dependent on the situation,but there are many situations,where you could be lucky to be hit with an AR vs. a 22LR,or .22WMR.

And the original point was: an AR 15 is fun to shoot because it is a small inexpensive round and doesn't have much recoil,like .22. you can shoot it all day,and it doesn't beat you down like bigger rifles will.
