Why does this matter?

Exactly. And he took advantage of it. He is literally the opposite of you and your low IQ children. You have not, nor will you ever do anything to make America great.

Just tuned into the Poli Board.

The upvotes/downvote ratio seems to indicate we're all anti-White, pro-street pooper now?

Can you tell me something Ramaswamy has produced?

You realize he is a patent merchant that hasn't actually created anything, right?

Yes, overblown - but not a nothing burger.

We know the volume of illegals streaming across the border the last several years has suppressed unskilled labor wages.

I don't think we've seen anybody post data on whether there's a legit engineering labor shortage or whether the pump for H1Bs is just big tech wanting cheaper engineers.

You are completely wrong on this. They are one of the the main reasons Trump won the election. Some of you have your heads so far up your asses, I’m convinced you beat off to pictures of Mitt and McCain every night in an attempt to get back to losing every fricking election over and over again.

Get on board or get the frick out of the way.

The entire H1-B visa program requires a showing that there is a lack of skilled workers in the particular field. This is not in the top 50 of the most pressing problems for Trump’s incoming administration.

All Trump needs to do is tell ICE to actually follow the H1-B law and we will be fine.

It wasn't specific to "tech" engineers, but Hackett posted a chart from the Wapo showing college grad wages have severely lagged over the past several years. Not sure what thread it was in.

The only difference to the Homoglobo Death Cult is that we don't alienate other Maga patriots just because we disagree on one issue. We can talk about it like grown up adults in order to achieve a compromise. (Even though I disagree with bringing in more minority non Americans. I would gladly trade someone who adds value to the country and assimilates for someone who is here to leech off the taxpayers hardwork.)

That should be pretty easy to derive from data and I haven't seen anybody post on it. Maybe it's out there and nobody in these threads has seen it.

Moreover, the H1-B visa program administered as designed is a pipe dream. Like anything fedgov touches, it's about who you know and pay.

Vivek seems to think it is.

Interesting - and it wouldn't surprise me if that's accurate.

Side note, let’s hope the government regulation requiring that data be provided is not gutted via DOGE or post-Chevron.

Seems like we need accurate data to formulate policy even if it increases regulatory costs on business.

There’s nothing to administer. It’s a law. The applicant either makes the required showing or his or her visa is denied.

The Biden administration, like they did with all of the immigration laws the past 4 years, just chose not to follow the law.

This issue will sort itself out under Trump.

Especially after what he did to Laura Loomer's account. I am not a Loomer fan but can't stand BS like Elon pulled.

H1-B frickery predates the Biden administration by a couple of decades.
