Much less Pride stuff this year in my area

I don't know when it was, like five years ago or so, but the nearest little downtown by my house was totally taken over by the gay pride stuff. The rainbow flags. Drink specials at bars. It did NOT extend to Town Hall stuff or schools, but on the "Main Street" it was all over, even a parade.
But then things got a bit nasty. There was my "Cheers" bar I went to (cue the song "where everybody knows your name") where I was told the gay brigade came in unbelievably aggressively and pretty much said
"if you don't do half price during the parade and donate and put up flags and something in your bar about inclusiveness you will suffer"
Problem was they were running into Republican tolerant but still conservative small business owner types who, at first were like, yeah, okay, half price drinks on that one day, who knows, maybe get some new clients in here, what the hell. Now these tactics got them pissed off and I don't know if they called each other or what but....
This year no parade and there is n-o-t-h-i-n-g about Pride except for ONE very small wine-bar-poetry-reading type space where you would almost expect it as a mandatory year round advertisement thing. The sports bar with the pride flags five years ago? Nope. The "we have 100 beers on tap place" with the pride flags five years ago? Nope. The Italian place. Nope. The Ice Creamery. Nope. The Deli. Nope. The Hair Cutters (who of all places might advertise since it's a "males hair cut only" place - ZERO,.
I wonder if that is just where I am or elsewhere too.

Society is trying to heal from the progressive disease. Hope we can before progressivisim does too much damage. I think it already has.

It's not completely gone, but scaled back bigly for sure.
Unrelated, but I'm seeing the return of hot, sleek attractive models selling all sorts of products. Starting with really good jeans to perfumes, cars, luxury items, etc... gone are the land whales and skinny fem bois sashaying their way across a TV screen or online ad.

It's not "The Gay Mafia" without reason.

Not to worry. I am sure there will still be plenty of fully nude men at parades with lots of children present.
