This would be a good bill to bring up.

If he can (all fed funds), he should. 100%
The People of the State of NY suppressed the vote and are stripping the voters of 49 other states of their rights.
Make NY howl!

Let’s be honest. If the White House closed all offshore exploration and funneled that money to the DNC, Johnson wouldn’t do anything more than pout. He’s a feckless coward.

Well, she isn’t voting for Joe Biden…again.

Maybe someone can explain how a speaker of the house can unilaterally
“Defund” the state of New York “today.”

No he can't.
Best he could do would be to get a bill passed by the House. Even then he'd have to get 7 of the 10 Republican Reps from the State of New York to vote to cancel all federal funds to their own state right before an election.
Even then it would have to get past the Senate, requiring Democrats to vote for it, and past a presidential veto.
Good luck.

Oh I don’t know, I was responding to you calling someone ignorant and out of touch when you’re months away from being a two-time Biden voter

The R controlled House could have already established a clear conspiracy to use lawfare against Trump with the co-conspirators being the illegitimate regime, the DOJ, Alvin Bragg, Fani Willis, Nathan Wade and Matthew Colangelo.........

Dumb idea. Defund an entire state? Outside of New York city, most of that state is red, similar to Illinois and Chicago. You don't have to defund an entire state to "get back".
What does need to happen, if Trump gets elected and we get the house and senate, is to hold federal funds for any city or state that is a sanctuary. Have that money go to "the wall". Any funds lost are gone for good until they reverse policy.

lawfare
The latest made up term by the GOP to manipulate public opinion.
Unlike "The Death Tax" and "Obamacare", I don't think "lawfare" is going to stick. But keep trying to push the company line until they give up on it and try a different way to make "trying someone with evidence for criminal activity who happens to be a politician" sound like a bad thing.

I agree with you.
But many GOP voters AND politicians don't realize those facts.
The reality is that in both red and blue states, cities tend toward being liberal and rural areas tend toward being conservative. South Carolina (where I live) is VERY conservative. But places like Columbia and Charleston are still quite liberal.
That's why we have the 6th district in SC.
It links the most liberal areas of Columbia and Charleston along with heavily african-american Orangeburg to make a single hugely Democrat district which allows the other districts to be comfortably Republican... instead of having 3-4 competitive districts in the state with reasonable lines drawn by geography..
The political divide isn't by red state/blue state. It's an urban/rural divide. There are very few urban areas that lean conservative. Pew put forward some numbers on the subject:
New Orleans, Austin, Atlanta, Miami, Cleveland, Memphis, Raleigh... very blue cities in red or purple states.

Wait you believe that Trump just got a fair trial in Manhattan?!? Surely, you jest.
The prosecution’s main witnesses were a convicted perjurer and a beaten up porn star whose story has changed 100 times over the last decade. And Trump’s primary witness from the FEC had his testimony limited by a corrupt judge who campaigned on “get Trump” and donated to Biden.
Meanwhile, no one on Epstein’s list has been prosecuted, Harvey Weinstein just had his conviction reversed, and Joe Biden has allowed millions of illegals into the country, has a quid pro quo on tape to fire the prosecutor in Ukraine who was investigating Burisma, and he just “forgave” billions of dollars in student loans after the Supreme Court ruled it was unconstitutional.
But sure, it’s not lawfare.

Yes, made up term.
It's like calling the estate tax "the death tax", or calling the affordable care act "obamacare" or calling the act of being polite "being politically correct".
These terms get made up to manipulate the public.
"Lawfare" is a made up term. It's a way to say "trying and convicting someone in court who happens to be a politician". It's attempting to make the public afraid of something by changing the name for it rather than actually talking about the merits directly. It's a common practice for the GOP.
I mean it's easy to get people to be upset about "Woke" comments. It's a lot harder to get people upset about "Pro Civil Rights" comments. Even though they are the same thing.
Changing the name and railing about it is much easier that talking about the issue with the real name attached.

It’s a term that has been around for 50 years and it’s in the dictionary. So not sure why you keep saying it’s “made up”
By that logic, every word is made up
