I think they smartened up in 2022. They chose a proven winner like Brian Kemp over a loser in David Perdue. I can't really blame them for the Senate because the primary field sucked and Herschel would've won the nomination even if Trump wasn't deep throating him.
If Kemp runs for Senate in 2026 I'm confident that he'd beat MTG in a primary. He'd be a lock to flip that Senate seat.

I would like to agree, but what rational person would want to sign up for that inevitable punishment? Because Trump will absolutely eventually turn on whomever it is.
