Just use the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire format. Given them multiple choice questions and let them use 50/50, phone a friend and ask the audience.

Naw, but I guess my expectations are a little different as well. I don't expect Biden (or Trump) to be able to stand up there and argue with exact statistics and facts, but I do expect them to be able to clearly discuss their policy and ideologies. They shouldn't need a panel available to tell them what they believe on a given topic.

This just in…. All standardized testing, and testing in general, has now been found to be an unnecessary redundancy.
What does it matter if the engineer, lawyer, doctor, electrician, ACTUALLY knows what they are talking about….. in the real world they have access to their cellphone and can simply look up any question or issue that may come up.
We should allow anyone to do any job at any time because, after all, they have the world’s knowledge at their fingertips and can find the answer or method for anything.
Just like in the real world.
