$7.75 for a fresh deli sandwich, chips and a drink
50 cents to a dollar more than Publix on price per lb on premium meats, sometimes the same price, and he buys from local farmers
You are off your rocker

Girlfriend picked up a Mr. P's Valentine's box that had a couple of filets, potatoes, marinade and a bottle of wine for us this year. It was really good, as usual.
I haven't ever eaten at the deli, but their meat and prices seem to be pretty legit given that quality. I did one of their monthly meat specials one month and had so damn much food in the freezer. It was glorious.

I'm 40+ and grew up in Bluff Park. Been going there my whole life. Love that place. Also like Tip Top Grill.

Mr Ps is good stuff. Sucks that I work on the other side of town now and can't make it there for lunch anymore.

I'm at the Petro truck stop iron skillet restaurant in dodge city Alabama and there's no TV at all. Cheap frickers

Shoulda driven down to Blount Springs and eaten at Top Hat BBQ. That's your own fault.

Folks around Alabama just call that Cullman or the big hill exit.

Mr. Ps has the best sandwiches in the Birmingham metro area.

Could not care less about the news channel in a place that sells food. All I care about is if the food is any good....guy could be damned communist, but if his food is good, I'll go there and gladly make my contribution

i noticed recently that i had OAN on directv. clicked it and it said this channel is blocked. put in my passcode (to protect my kids from watching anything over pg-13) and it popped up and i watched for a bit. it was fine. nothing inappropriate.
below that was FreeSpeech TV. no channel guard. not 2 minutes into it and 2 F bombs with my kids in the room.

that place SUCKS
I got custody of my daughter when she was 13 months old (14 years ago) - was living in Cahaba Heights (vestavia) AL at the time - the ex lived in Huntsville with her parents - THAT place was where we used to meet to do pick ups and drop offs (halfway point)
that place is awful as a restaurant

Downvote away. Mr. P's is a place I would love to endorse but cannot. Going there reminds me how easy it must be to be a sandwich maker in Alabama--where the standard of a good sandwich is on a level that only Missouri Football would understand. They use loaf bread and base grade meat on their offerings and would close within one week if located in New York, Atlanta, Dallas, etc.
But, yeah, they don't watch Cnn
