Try this out: go to a neighborhood facebook page for a big city with violence problems. NOLA, Chicago, etc... works. Do it after a sad shooting or carjacking. They will all talk about how it's time for a change and how messed up the system is and the current politicians need to change.
One guy will get in about 20 posts later and suggest a republican. The way they pile on him or her is unreal. You'd think he suggested the entire city should be shipped off to Siberia.
I have little hope for inner cities for the next 30 years as they show little desire to have real change.
