But this is contradicted by Wayfair itself. They said those were "accurately priced." And that when they bring them back to the marketplace they'll "do a better job explaining why the price point is so high."
Doesn’t make sense. If it was a correct and legit listing, there is no reason for them to make any changes.

I said this earlier, but there's logical explanations for stuff like pillows
Weren’t there pictures of the exact same pillow but with different names attached to it?

list and re-list?
Ive attempted to order items that were out of stock and then went back and ordered it when it was back in stock.
the items was not "relisted". It just said unavailable when out of stock, then allowed me to order when there was enough inventory.
so what I experienced is not the traditional method used by companies?
you are telling me they spend money to "relist" instead of this approach?

I used to be hating on ole Tiegs but she's handling this well

That's what I was saying on the previous page I think. They didn't mention the throw pillows. The narrative has shifted to only talking about the cabinets. The reason why, I'm guessing, is because it's a hell of a lot harder to explain the price markup on the throw pillow.
Time will tell on this stuff, but I have a strong suspicion we will be hearing more about this in the future. I think they just got busted.

Exactly. Those items will never be listed again.

So a sex trafficking ring is going to use a publicly traded company for communicating and ordering purposes.

What's that quote people like to toss around a lot; the truth is often stranger than fiction?
I think that's exactly what was happening.

quote:I am not saying Wayfair does this, but yes, certain platforms have listing fees...which is why once it gets to an inventory of 1, the seller will jack up the price until inventory is replenished to simply skate a "list" fee. Etsy, eBay, etc. are ones that come to mind. Just depends on the platform.

I thought the Q thread was tin foil. This is beyond the foil.

The pic was there. Guess I should have screen shot it. Removed this AM.

The pillows have been discussed for the last 3 pages now. You can stop with the "no one wants to talk about pillows" schtick. It's not true.

I'm not talking about you, dude. I'm talking about the journalist that asked Wayfair about all of this and their response. They didn't discuss the pillows. They only mention the cabinets. The pillow is far more interesting to me. It's much harder to explain the mark-up and it also brings to mind the Podesta emails about the handkerchief. They were asking him about his "new pillows" in the same email chain. These pillows are another code word I'm thinking.

Could be a $100.00 throw pillow where someone left out a decimal.

Been that way forever. Anyone who happens to notice just gets called a crazy conspiracy theorist and nobody looks anymore for fear of being labeled crazy.
Classic brainwashing and highly effective.

Simple mistake?
Hacked?
As others said, low inventory so they upped the price until new inventory?
All of those are much more plausible and believable than thinking Wayfair is hiding their pedophile ring via the largest online retailer on the internet.
Also, you never answered my 3 questions from earlier about the pillows. Are the manufacturers in on it?
