Now this could become interesting when it reaches the higher courts. It seems as if Orange County is the Ground Zero in the sanctuary city battle:

No way Cali goes red, but if it ever did, that would be curtains for the Dems. The only reason elections are close now is because they get Cali and New York.

I suspect a lot of actual legal citizens of California reject the idea of sanctuary status. It just took one town to stand up and more will follow.

So the cities that reject the policy of allowing illegal immigrants to stay in their city will be sued by the state? There's no way that can hold up in court.

This should be RA'd or anchored for misleading title.

Sanctuary laws protect illegal immigrants, not immigrants. Legal immigrants are protected by the constitution.

If Cal and NY EC votes were the Congressional District Method the libs would not carry those states...

It may depend on which court. Remember the 9th circuit one?!?! They don't interpret the law, they make law over there.

I wish north California and the ranch areas that are deep red and the communist coastal idiots including the illegal invaders from Latin America would get into a full blown civil war.
