The tariff only affects you if you buy the tariffed product.

Listen, you drooling dipshit, your tariff take’s so stupid it wouldn’t pass preschool. Tariffs ain’t some opt-out tax son, they hit everything you touch. That 25% on Canadian steel jacks up your truck and beer cans while you’re sitting there clueless. China’s 20% on phone parts and TVs? That’s your dumb arse paying more, not some CEO. Canada’s 25% on pasta, EU’s 25% on bourbon, 10% on jeans all that shite climbs, and you’re the sucker eating it, not dodging it. It’s in the supply chain, kid, bleeding you dry ‘til you’re the last idiot swiping your card. Inflation’s got tariffs all over it, and you’re too dense to notice. Shove your “only if you buy it” crap up your arse and crawl off, clown you’re done.

Did this model factor in the upcoming tax cuts or just the news of the day?

I'm skeptical of the numbers also. One thing is for sure though. There are a lot more finance bros that think this is a shite sandwich than a good idea.

I'm not a betting man but I don't like relying on the idea that Trump is right and pretty much everyone else is wrong.

I like this take.

Well, I guess we go back to feeding the world and paying the world for us to do it.

Hows that plan.

As of today there about$2 trillion in losses to the market and the economy.

The possibility of a recession is about 50/50 according to most economists I’ve heard from. Woohoo!

Well, frick everybody's retirement or 401k, this is worth it so that 100,000 $17 an hour manufacturing jobs can come back here.

(And yes, I know no one who didn't sell lost a dime).

No, it's just unfortunate for the people pretending to hate leftism promoting leftism.

Other countries choosing suboptimal economic and political policies shouldn't be a justification for America engaging in the same suboptimal policymaking.
