It was started long before trump was a president, so it’s silly to say trump started it.

They got a gubment teat to suckle. Why work that hard job, when you can let the other tax payers provide for you... You should really try reading the entire post, it would prevent many of your questions.

The tariff only affects you if you buy the tariffed product

No. You're either left with no option because the US doesn't produce coffee beans or semiconductors, or you pay a higher price regardless because your choice is between a higher priced domestic good or a tariffed foreign good. Either way you have less money now because of an increase.

. Good luck with you're pending mass immigration .

That's the alternative to offshoring and robots.

This is a great example of a false equivalence fallacy son.
I wasn't equating anything. I'm pointing out that the sky-screamers (a group you are likely a part of) are wrong over and over and over with their dooms day scenarios and models.

Oh, and I'm not your son.

you live to project. Pretending that academics aren’t extremely biased is just so naive in idiotic. Maybe back when you graduated high school and started driving the bus things were different.

I'm not against robots. Is it the reading or the comprehension part that's giving you the most difficulty? Bring the robots MILLIONS of them. Then we train Americans to maintain them. Good paying jobs that Americans can support their families on.

Because he's a populist. Actual positions don't make any difference to them.

Also, that particular guy is especially stupid when it comes to his duck analogy.

He thinks gong there is very, VERY clever.

So what? If the 3+Trillion investment only employees 10 Americans (it will likely be millions of Americans), that's 10 more than would have been employed were the companies still overseas. The corporate HQ folks here will likely be Americans as well. The 3+Trillion will be spent here in the US and not overseas. Winning!
