As a businessman his job was to rape and pillage. He was responsible for destroying communities by buying companies just to dismantle them and sell off the pieces, shuttering local support businesses and putting people out of work.

Mitt's insistence on putting his principles ahead of winning is what makes him a loser.

You’re close, but not quite.

Does any politician possession any less personal character than Mitt Romney? He can't even represent those who put him in office properly and knows it (hence his not running for re-election). What kind of character does it take to falsely represent yourself to the voters and then get elected and be the antithesis of what they voted for? A cuck idiot like Mitt Romney.

I hate Mittens (and crony capitalism) as much as anyone, but you sound like a Commie! A company exists to MAXIMIZE VALUE FOR SHAREHOLDERS.

his use of "actually", actually concerns me a bit.

It sounds like Mitt is ignoring policy and political philosophy and just wants Trump gone for personal reasons.
Is that bad?
Is that bad?

Mitt, much like John McCain was, is bitter that he couldn’t attain the top prize after years of paying his dues, when it was “his turn”, whereas this brash outsider, in his first foray into politics of any kind, became President in one try.
Mitt’s a phony of the worst kind. A former governor of Massachusetts who became a senator from Utah. He used his Mormon religion to carpetbag the frick out of those Utah voters.

Only a man of impeccable character would respond with "my sons and I served by getting me elected" when asked why neither he nor his sons served in the military.

I agree. Trump had the temerity to run against him and he doesn't like Trump's lifestyle, so he's made it personal and is ignoring policy.
Again, is that bad?

I don’t know that it’s good or bad. It’s just inherently part of the game. But if you go out of your way to MAKE it personal, all bets are off.
