“There’s sort of a planned expectation that it would be sometime around Thanksgiving, so you’d have basically Thanksgiving to Christmas — which would be wonderful because there’s no deadline in the world like the next break to motivate senators,” Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) said, according to the Washington Post.

There's going to be no trial. Crazy Aunt Nancy doesn't have the votes, and McConnell knows this. Perhaps he's trolling Mitt Romney.

Turtle is coyly doing this because he knows it is coming which is a far cry from saying the dems are out to get Trump. (This was discussed yesterday in a thread a prog proudly posted)

It was a secret vote. Mitch should call for the trial to start Monday, since the House is basically deeming Trump impeached by secret committee.
