It seems obvious Pelosi is prepared to come down from the $2.2 trillion they proposed this week and Mnuchin has obviously been given the green light from Trump for at least $1.5 trillion but even in the very off chance they come to an agreement tomorrow Mitch is certain to shoot it down. This will make Pelosi and the democrats look like they tried to help the people (we know that’s bullshite) while the Mitch and the republicans remain stubborn therefore making Trump look bad heading into the election. I would much rather the economy open up completely than another stimulus but since that’s not going to happen I hope and think a deal needs to happen. Trump doesn’t need more bad press and the media will make it seem like he’s 100% at fault.

Because he didn’t even want to do the $600 billion proposal the GOP made. He doesn’t want any stimulus. I’m fortunate enough to not need assistance but many people in the country do need it so I hope Mitch can get his head out of his arse long enough to see that. He’s not worried about his election the polls have him way ahead.

The issue is all the bull shite involved. Pelosi wants to help the Post Office to harvest ballots. The Repubs don’t. Who wins the PR war? Neither will back down.

Pelosi is passing a bill with all kinds of bullshite in it including giving illegals stimulus checks. The Senate will never go along with that crap. That's not McConnell's fault. They've clearly stated that they will not pass a bill with that crap in it and Pelosi knows it yet she still continues to ram thru phony bills in the house that she knows will go no where.

This!! I have never seen a group of people so incapable of using their words. Explain what the crazy witch is doing - loudly and daily - and the American people (who look and act human) will understand. Frick!!!

The answer isn’t more money to allow governors and mayors to just extend shutdowns longer. The answer is to end the bullshite and that won’t happen if you keep priming it with trillions in cash. Trump should put his foot down and if governors keep playing this bullshite game, let them deal with the middle class in the streets.

Almost exclusively by Democrat Governors. So why is that FedGov’s responsibility for a bailout?

It’s always been U.S. policy that we do not negotiate with terrorists. If McConnell had a set of balls that’s all that needs to be said & make sure it’s said in front of the press corp so the whole world can see the drop the mic moment.

You need to get your head out of your arse and realize they are attaching bailout money for states that were nearly bankrupt before covid. The majority of this money won't make it past the first set of government grifters.
