I imagine China will step in IF they try to seize property in MO
Almost assuredly a huge waste of MO taxpayer money

So does most of Europe from WW2. It was a story a few years back when the UK finally paid theirs off

No shortage of dumb people around here. You’re towards the top of that list. There are lots of intelligent people here too. You should try to learn something from them.

there are lots of very intelligent people here. it's the reason i enjoy reading/posting. while i disagree with the majority, i've definitely had some opinions sway based on what i've read here. fwiw i consider you among the very intelligent.
i try to contribute to the conversation and avoid personal insults. for better or worse, you seem to revel in them
no big deal
i take some digs for sure but it would be refreshing to see more actual discussion and less wrestling

Hey idiot Beaux DuKe,
Bottom line,
1. Missouri takes their land back jaxkass, whether it’s $1Million worth of land, they have zero business owning it here, PERIOD
2. It sets a precedent and a movement for other state AG’a that have balls unlike yourself & take their land back as well!
They’ve been buying up land thru shell companies & strategically next to military bases etc.:.
It should be ILLEGAL to own it here & that AG seen “low lying fruit” and easy option to take it back for $ZERO you MAROON!!!
And when you add all the land up across the country (it adds up) we can look at it as a deposit for what they do per this world for unleashing a bio-weapon on us.
And while we at it, we need to take Bill Gates to the Mat in every state & do the same thing but for the Vaccines, he’s the single largest private owner of farmland in the country I believe.
We need to take his shite to, he needs a firing squad & we commandeer his entire wealth.

Chinese companies only own 42,000 acres of land in Missouri.

I'm sure the fricktards in this thread will tell us they know more than GROK
GROK says:
Farmland Value Estimate
Chinese entities own a notable portion of Missouri's foreign-owned agricultural land. According to the Missouri Department of Agriculture, as of 2022, businesses and individuals with ties to China owned 42,596 acres of agricultural land in the state. This figure represents about 36% of Missouri's total foreign-owned farmland at that time.
To estimate the value:
The 2024 average value of non-irrigated cropland in Missouri, per the Missouri Farmland Values Opinion Survey, is approximately $8,524 per acre for "good" quality land.
Applying this average to the 42,596 acres:
42,596 acres × $8,524/acre = ~$363 million.
However, actual values could vary significantly based on:
Land quality: Some of this land may be pasture, irrigated cropland, or lower-quality soil, which could lower or raise the per-acre value (e.g., pastureland might be closer to $3,000–$5,000/acre, while prime irrigated land could exceed $10,000/acre).
Location: Proximity to urban areas or military sites (relevant due to recent restrictions) could affect pricing.
Specific use: Much of this land is tied to Smithfield Foods (acquired by China’s WH Group in 2013), used for hog farming, which might include infrastructure like barns or processing facilities, potentially increasing the total value.

Adjusting for these factors, estimates from posts on X and web sources suggest a range of $300 million to $363 million for Chinese-owned farmland in Missouri, with $363 million being a reasonable upper-bound estimate based on the survey data.

i think we can all agree oj simpson murdered his ex wife and her boyfriend
he never paid a penny for it
china isn't going to give a dime to the state of missouri and as someone else mentioned, this is just going to cost missouri legal fees
tell me how you think missouri is going to collect on china?
do you think any land or businesses are listed as property of china?
this is a fools errand
