Every once in a while, being Mississippi can produce good things like this. We have the balls to not GAF because perception of the state can’t get any worse.

Police officers hit on about what 25% of their shots?

Actually, police hit around 87-94% of their shots.

Other states are also allowing teachers to carry. It's not a bad idea.

Who cares how many regressive pussies are triggered by the idea.

What you gonna arm the teachers with?

Would depend on what the teacher feels comfortable carrying and shooting.

The primary objective is to deter a school shooting. If arming teachers works as it's designed we will never find out.

What happens when a teacher is overpowered and the weapon is taken ?

What will the argument be then?

Would the Cruz kid have been able to shoot more people if he could have snatched a teacher's gun too?

So you think a shooter is going to walk up a grab a gun out of someone’s hand during a school shooting?

Well. shite. I want to present some hypotheticals, also.

What happens if a bird gets inside the school and shits on the floor, and then an armed teacher slips on the bird shite, and falls down, and their gun accidentally goes off and the bullet strikes a bad guy that is in the middle of robbing a bank, 2 miles away?

Being familiar with the local schools, it should be an administrative decision. One of the benefits of being in the deep south.

I know several school employees that can handle a weapon. Some are male, some are female. My kid's elementary school has an administrative employee whose family is in my hunting lease, and that woman can handle any situation. The school should send that woman to the ALERT training that LEOs receive and she could work with local LEO to have the school secured.

Any random employee, not so much.

Knowing they have people there who are carrying would make me feel better. It lets the potential shooter know there’s going to be return fire. These people don’t get to walk in on unarmed children anymore without expecting to die.

So, no link. That's what I figured. You're just talking out of your arse because of those "scary guns".

A classic example of a regressive accusing the other side of doing exactly what they're guilty of doing.

At the very least it deters a person from shooting at people that can’t defend themselves. You have to give students and teachers a chance to defend themselves.
