Again, no.
He knew he was fricked up, ignoring the trans stuff.
He was obsessed with mass shootings to the point where it became his self identify from about 10 until yesterday (he was 23, so 12-13 years or so). Based on his manifesto and what he posted, at no point did he ever think that was normal, and he knew how fricked up he was.
He wrote about literal voices in his head compelling him to do a mass shooting. He didn't mince words about that.
