Argentina does not have military to go against current British defense on islands.

I support them trying eventually, send the red coats home

The nations of the New World were created as acts of will within recent history, by founders who chased fortune beyond the horizon and built something new. The worst political temptation of our hemisphere has been socialism — a politics of spite sown by state and non-state adversaries that resents the sovereignty and success of functional countries. Voters are increasingly rejecting those appeals, though, and it’s been a joy to conduct diplomacy in the New World in this new era. The United States stands with our friends in the Western Hemisphere in honor of our Western roots, values, freedoms, and future.

Argentina has no claim whatsoever to the islands. Ever—at any historical point.

Every person who lives on the island is British, considers themselves British, and literally voted almost unanimously to remain British.

On top of all that, Argentina’s military is even more pathetic than it was forty years ago—and then they were literally trotting out ships that were present at Pearl Harbor as flagships and front line vessels.

Even in its weakened state, the RN/UK would absolutely smoke Argentina in any conflict of any sort.

UK will keep the Falkland's only because Trump will let them but only in exchange for helping us destroy Iran.

Trump is telling Loyds of London to let the shipping pass through the Strait of Hormuz and he is telling the British banks to freeze Iranian money or we will back Argentina.
4 dimensional chess.
The Brits are obviously pushing back and this is the stick that Trump is using against the red coats.

Milei is putting a giant spotlight on it though & the UK only have themselves to blame

To blame for what?

The Falklands are entirely a UK possession, inhabited by Britons. What are we blaming who on?

Huh?

Fairness isn’t a factor in anything. The islands are just British, period. Zero controversy.

Has that changed?

I’m thinking if they didn’t allow invaders from Somalia to the islands then some Brits might be escaping there. And hell, they might want Argentina to rule them knowing they won’t allow invaders like the Brits. It might be the “bug out” island for many Brits as their real homeland is taken over.

Until they are not.
Might makes right dude.
This is how England rolled for 500 years.
They walked in and took what they wanted. Why is Argentina denied the same right.

It’s a pretty inhospitable group of islands as far as living conditions. Wind blows crazy high speeds. No wildlife other than sheep.

I’m not sure how England justifies their claim on these islands or why they even want to continue holding them.

England won a battle there and then later there was an election where the people voted to stay part of the UK

The population was ethnically cleansed in the 18th and 19th centuries. The people that live there now are ethnically from the british isles.

Of course they want to stay with the UK.

Who were those people? The islands were uninhabited when discovered by Europeans.
