Support!
Rowe is very logical on a wide range of topics.

Mike Rowe has actually been working with This Old House to promote the trades and going to trade school instead of college for some people. They aim to get rid of the stigma that everyone must go to college. For that, I will listen to this celebrity

So just how many universities are exactly in the same boat as this one? And subsequently, just how much more can MAGA shave off of the budget and reduce our deficit/debt?

Mike Rowe is an awesome individual and a great American. Definitely has an interesting life.

So wait...when are we supposed to care about celebrities views on these things? When they agree with us?
I care when they come within striking distance of making sense. That goes for left, right, and far out.

At Hampshire College, The President, Jonathan Lash, has actually removed the flag from his campus, in response to students who expressed “fear and discomfort” when confronted by the sight of Old Glory. He offered this explanation: “Removing the flag from our campus will better enable us to focus our efforts on addressing racist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic, and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and behaviors.”
This is very reminiscent of Missouri, the poop swastika, and the Mizzou President cowering to the whims and wants of some of its students.
The world doesn't alter its shape to my whims, wants, and desires. It doesn't change merely because I am scared or anxious about things in general or specific items. It certainly doesn't bow down to me as I please.
One has no place as an educator or a leader, of anything, if you believe removing a flag will do anything substantive. This is embarrassing.

What about students who disagree with that decision? Should they be punished for that decision because the University made it a try they already began their coursework?
They should get off their fricking asses and make noise like the assholes do.

Whether you agree with him or not, whenever Mike Rowe comments on political issues, he's always got a lengthy, well informed, thought out reasoning and explanation for his position on an issue.

The best part..
Followed by your take on this..
Mike Rowe's excrement is worth more than your opinion or your commentary.

To my knowledge, no one has ever burned a flag at a trade school.
I wonder why that is?

I can appreciate this nuance, but more important to me is what about those Americans who don't want to pay the better part of this 250,000 tuition that these kids are racking up?

I think it's ridiculous to refuse to fly the US flag.
It's time for us to be vocal and give credit where credit is due: the American spirit of people who refuse to fly the American flag is on par with that of Ronald Reagan, Hulk Hogan, Nathan Hale, and Jesus of Nazareth when it comes to their love and respect for our country. We should tell these people this as often as we can.

I disagree strongly. If you are unhappy with situations in this country protest and try to change them specifically. There is a process to do that.
What is happening in this country is that is becoming cool to disrespect the flag and national anthem. It is a mark of immaturity and failure of logical thought. Far, far too many people have died for both and the freedom of this country to have these icons desecrated and disrespected in this manner.

Well, the problem with that is it is not cool, patriotic, American and Christlike and I don't lie to folks. Burning the flag is none of those things.
My feelings for those libs are as far from respect and admiration as you can get.

No, but I did find it a refreshing outlook and more importantly true.

Karma's a bitch. How many Confederate flag wavers were demonized for their mantra of "just wait, the American flag will be next" response to the removal of the old flag of the south? I remember words such as dumbasses, idiots, bigoted rednecks, low hanging fruit, etc. being used to describe those flag wavers and their opinions?
So, in a very short period of time the endgame has been exposed by the radicals of the left. The old saying about "a foot in the door" has never been more evident than it is now.
