Pence had a lot of people fooled, I’ll give him that. Even Rush advocated for him on his show one time when pence was just a congressman. In fact, that may have been why Trump picked him. I think Trump was a ditto head.

Agreed. Compare the treatment of the Jan 6 rioters with that of Minneapolis or Seattle.
I'm not defending anyone that participated in that mob behavior. Each one is an idiot for storming the capital building. That said, the charges and sentences for these people is purely political and clearly intended to send a message.
I'm not sure it is being heard the way they think.

But, they are more like political prisoners than hostages.

You are right but mis-labeling them as January 6th hostages serves a dual purpose: 1. it forces the legacy media to correct Trump and 2. which forces them to talk about these political prisoners.
