I did see a picture with one Nazi flag but he looked like a soy boy plant.

Yeah, if you're gonna false-flag something, at least make it somewhat believable.

Yeah, we need a skinhead with some convincing tats or it's probably a leftist plant.

Can we go back to the days when a confederate flag just wasn’t that big a deal? It’s just a cool symbol of the south. Doesn’t mean you hate black people.

What republic? Your God-given rights have been stripped by usurpation before your very eyes.

Nazis were anti-communist. They were right about that.

Doesn't mean that I'm a Nazi if I oppose communists.

The think that gets me about the morons that make all conservatives look bad by displaying that flag is they clearly have no black friends or ever interact with black people or they might consider how it makes them feel.

Yep, and nazis were also socialists.

Sort of an "all squares are rectangles, not all rectangles are square" type of thing

Keep your revisionist history to your Civil War re-enactment jerkoff sessions.

While i'm not exactly defending his point and its semantics, technically the "war" was not about slavery.

The South definitely succeeded from the Union over slavery. Yes it was States Rights, but it was a States right to determine if they were free or slave owning. The CSA believed they had a legal right to succeed from the Union, The Northern States and Lincoln didn't believe they had that right and there for were treasonous. The South was probably right since No one including Davis were ever tired for treason.

The war was over the preservation or dissolution of the Union. Slavery wasn't really a driving force for Lincoln or the Northern States in the fight. The whole issue was far more complicated than the nice clean moral argument of Slavery. It's just a nice little moral cause to make Union and some of their actions more just and righteous. So you may call it revisionist history, but both sides have revised history to make themselves look and feel better. And you also realize most wars have reenactments and most of the civil war reenactments are Union victories and meant to keep the history alive.

The irony of her acting like Hitler and the symbolism of the Confederate flag resisting tyranny is absolutely lost on her. Not surprising in the least.

Yes they said swastikas and confederate flags. just her false flag attempt to paint all red-blooded Americans who want to get back to work as racists. Oldest trick in the dem playbook that now just falls on deaf ears.

And yes, this was the swastika she was referring to

I just think it’s pretty fricking soft of black people to be offended by the flag in the first place

That's where "the right" has been too soft and milquetoast in pushing back against accusations of Facism and Nazism. While those ideologies did incorporate nationalism into their matrix, they were largely leftist and socialistic overall.

The main differences between "National Socialism" and Marxism (particularly Stalinism) are nationalism vs pan-nationalism and corporatism vs collectivism.

But, in both cases, everything was being engineered by and in the service of the state and its goals.

In our system, at least as designed, the state is established to foster the libery and pursuit of happiness of its citizens, not citizens in service of the state or collective (as in Socialistic and Communistic systems).

Yep. We all knew that was coming because that’s how the Dems roll. I’d have been shocked if they didn’t play it. It’s their “toss dive” play.

Which was caused by the southern states attempting to leave the Union because of movement among northern states to ban slavery. I'm not saying it wasn't a State's Rights issue, it was. It's just that that issue was the legality of slavery. You cannot divorce one from the other. It wasn't simply "State's Rights" it was "State's Rights to determine the legality of slavery".
