Michigan Democrat wants to lower social security age to 60 for some people

Do our politicians just have no shame? The Social Security is supposed to go bankrupt in the coming years if nothing is done, and this lady is trying to lower the retirement age and add huge deficits to the program.
You can’t fix stupid I guess.

Policy and politics are two different worlds. There is no overlap.
This person knows this is a terrible idea and the chances it ever becomes law are zero. Less than zero. Absolutely knows both things are true. Bad idea and will never happen.
But they don't care because they believe it's good politics. They are only concerned about the politics of an issue, not the actual issue.
Learn politics. This is all Republicans and Democrats do. System is broken beyond repair.

Seems like every American would have a real issue with governments taking our money in the name of retirement…. And controlling when we are allowed to access it.
I personally don’t like handing over my money and having some bureaucrat telling me when I’m allowed to have my money back.
