I tell you this from someone who followed the same track from summer associate to the corner office. BarryBonds can confirm how this works, if you doubt. His route was a bit different, but he knows the road.

Cut her some slack. If he wouldn't have become president she would have divorced him. And she held it together for the kids. I'm sure they will grow up all normal.
