Yep. They are making it a bigger story than it needs to be, with just stupid responses to the questions.
If they want to play the "nothing top secret was said" card, they need to just release the transcripts. If nothing was confidential, surely they can do that?
And if thats not the case, heads need to roll for being stupid enough to derail this administration with this circus.

Its not about expecting "sanity", its about realizing the moment.
The MAGA agenda is too important to go full tribal on politics. I like Hegseth, but in my view he was already on thin ice from how much of a circus his confirmation process was (fair or unfair, doesnt matter). Waltz I was alright with despite being uniparty for being anti-China.
Neither of those guys are worth protecting at all costs. Matt Gaetz would have been a massive upgrade over Bondi and he was set aside to avoid the circus Hegseth went through.
We have a deep GOP bench. Outside of Trump, Vance, and maybe Rubio, none of these guys are irreplaceable in a way that wouldn't keep the ball rolling. frick ups should not be tolerated
