Other than a conversation overheard in video clip of the immediate aftermath of the shooting, no. And I doubt anyone in the neighborhood is going to corroborate his story. This is going to come down to forensics alone.

I wish I could be so confident that Holder won't still bring suit for civil liberties violations, against either the police officer -- or the department or city -- no matter the criminal aspect of this case.

That was very interesting. They kept claiming that a civil rights suit would be brought (even though they knew there wasn't one) for weeks after the trial was over and strategically waited until everything died down so their abandonment of the suit was under the radar.

Pretty sure it is the Laura Ingraham Show. The only link I had was a code for Youtube, which allowed me to bring it up on my phone and transcribe it.
They said that they had pre-vetted the caller before having her on the air and everything she'd said had checked out, so it wasn't just a random crank calling up to say Howard Stern's arse shot down that jet in the Ukraine.

Only reason to get it done is to try and find ANYTHING to push forward the narrative they want.
The Brown family hired the fricking guy who did the autopsies of JFK and RFK, IIRC, and his findings were consistent with the officer's story that Brown rushed him and that the forehead shot was the kill shot.

My question is, wouldn't at least part of this encounter be filmed by the officer's dash cam? Or do those things have to be turned on? Genuine question.
