Pisses me off. My grandpa was sent to Detroit for race riots in the 60's as part of the NG. He passed in December, I'd love to hear his reaction.

Because of the nature of the "modern" U.S. military, I get the core reason of "why" we got away from being able to feed ourselves. It isn't glamorous, it's resource intensive and one of those things the private sector *ahem* "usually" can do much more efficiently (look no further than all the fancy, rich kid high schools with mall quality food courts versus school cafeteria food).
But, you're at the mercy of your contractors for basic life support. This is a classic example. This likely wouldn't have happened with military cooks and military equipment. Might not have been as tasty, but much less raw meat and metal shavings.
Best food I ever had in uniform was at the III COSCOM at Fort Hood, prepared by U.S. Army personnel.

Well it's Whitmer's guard. She's loathed by her state more than any other Governor. She is actively trying to harm her constituents. What was that phrase that AOC said..."let this moment radicalize you". Wonder how long it takes before people stop putting up with this shite?
