My favorite Rapinoe story is the week after she first took the knee during the anthem , her mother called, begging her to not do it again. There is a restaurant in her home town,. one of the town's favorites, & the walls were covered in Rapinoe's photos, a collection of her trophies lining the walls. The day after she took the knee, all her photos were removed from the walls, her trophies put in a back room, out of sight. Her mother was crying & begging. Rapinoe refused & the walls remain bare.

Yep. Clark is mannish in appearance. People genuinely liked her because of her skills.
