Yes you did and yes you do.

When you, in bad faith, lecture us about how we’re messing up, when you don’t want us to succeed, it is a defense of the other side.

Yes, Trump want's loyalty.

But as a bonus we are also getting courage to fight and transparency through declassification.

I fully expect after declassification and transparency the new AG will be derelict in his duty to not seek accountability and the pressure to seek accountability will come from the public.

So typical of you

What's typical is how what I said (which wasn't that confusing) is turned into a strawman, which this post is:

quote:

Oh sure. He’s had 4 years of experience as president and 4 years to reflect on his experience as president only to then be completely random and use ZERO intelligence regarding his next term.

That is not what I said, at all.

Then when I correct it, people say I am the one backtracking (when what I'm doing is correcting a strawman).

And yes, THAT paradigm is typical on here these days.

You mean our system of laws?

Because ultimately that's what this irrational aggression is going to face (and lose to, like Trump's first admin did, over and over again).

I am pissed at myself for being charmed by his ways for so long.

The only reason I engage the man is because I like him and want the best for him because I’ve determined, through our interactions, that he’s a smart, kind individual who has a lot to offer.

I’m starting to feel like I read it all wrong.

What is confusing about this?

learning to rely on strategy and intelligence as opposed to non-strategic and random aggression

That is not saying either Trump or Gaetz is unintelligent

It certainly isn't saying either are "emotional" (retard-level analysis)

It's saying Gaetz signals a preference for irrational aggression as opposed to strategy and intelligence. That's how Gaetz typically operates and that style was absolutely terrible in Trump's first admin. It completely neutered the Trump agenda (including lots of things I wanted to be done). THAT was the problem with his choices in round 1. Gaetz signals a decision to follow the same path.

Republicans complaining about Gaetz are about as stupid as stupid gets.

Trump picked “mainstream” AGs and where did that get him? Sessions handed him over to Mueller, Rosenstein wanted to wear a wire to entrap him, then Barr did nothing to protect the office before making a career shitting on Trump on cable news.

Picking a fearless guy who was also a victim of this bullshite is a pretty shrewd move.

That's a "they" problem not a "me" problem.

quote:

swore adamantly that gaetz was just bloviating about getting rid of McCarthy and wouldn’t actually do anything

I didn't think he'd stoop to being a stooge for the Democrats. That was low

quote:

once it became obvious gaetz was actually doing something, swore adamantly there was no way he would be able to accomplish anything

Which was true. Removing KM accomplished nothing.

quote:

was completely and utterly silent when the actual new speaker was chosen

Not true. I said nothing would change (I was correct)

quote:

when the new speaker turned out to be almost as worthless as the previous speaker, decided somehow that was gaetz’ fault

Gaetz made promises. He delivered on none. An objective analysis would consider that a failure. A great display of irrational aggression that resulted in nothing positive of note.

Now is a good time to add this as a response to the above quote

For someone that so desperately needs people to believe he is intelligent, your consistent lack of understanding of words is astounding. No one that reads your posts would ever mistake you for being objective.

Do you want to continue to virtue signal or actually get shite one for once?

quote:

The ambulance chaser from lake Charles is an incredibly stupid person.

Again, objectively not true (unless you're a leftist who doesn't believe in IQ)

Once he gets recess appointed and does what he is going to do I DARE anybody to try to get him out of there by not confirming him.

After 8 years the same people are, "Oh no, I don't know what Trump is thinking..."

hahahahaha - idiots

The nomination of Gaetz is the signal, due to how Gaetz operates

How is saying Gaetz is all aggression and no strategy "defending" anything?

It's an analysis of Gaetz's likely effectiveness. Nothing more.

quote:

This is devoid of logic.

Not joining in the echo chamber does not imply I support your perceived out group.

I'm specifically telling you how this strategy will not increase the chance of implementing whatever policy you want to implement.
