I feel for Drew. Quite frankly if I was him, I'd retire and tell everybody to go have a coke and smile then sit back and enjoy the Saints implosion.

If I were Brees I'd flip the whole bunch the bird and retire. There will be people out there cheap shotting him and trying to injure him for certain, and I doubt some of his teammates will have his back.

It’s going to be really interesting to see what happens if Drew does play this year.
If the Saints flop and get knocked out of playoff contention, the media/commentators will relentlessly pound on him on his way out.
If they make a playoff run the media will have to walk a tightrope for ratings purposes.
If the Saints were to win the whole thing—it would be gloriously awkward seeing some of the butt-kissing they would have to do.
(I will not be watching any of it, but do hope Drew can somehow come out of this thing better than where he sits today.)
