The dems only hope to beat Trump in November is for the economy to crater. The only thing on the horizon that could crash the economy is the virus.
Given that the dems and MSM are closely allied together, how much of the press the virus is receiving is from honest reporting, and how much of it is from trying to help defeat Trump?
Me thinks Yellen has just added her "Beat Trump."

Major outbreaks in Italy and South Korea

Is there a chart where I can see what a "major" outbreak is and what a "minor" outbreak is?
Is the flu in perpetual major outbreak?

That will definitely impact the economy. And that’s not counting lost production from ill workers
How bout we worry about lost production when there's actually ill workers

Italy already had outbreaks.
I need to see the data of how many were already reported in SK before Monday to assess if the word “major” holds any credence.

No, moron, the media is responsible for spreading fear and panic in the U.S. in order to usher in a recession to blame it on bad orange man. Ya know, kinda like they did with muh inverted yield curve this past summer.

I blame Bloomberg going for a more dramatic headline.
For example:
Forexlive.com - Ex-Fed head Yellen says its conceivable that the coronavirus could push the US into recession
It's a short little blurb:
Like someone else said, there are a lot of things that could push the US economy into a recession.

It's a short little blurb:
quote:
Ex Chair of the Federal Reserve System Janet Yellen speaking
*Virus could have a significant impact on Europe
*some risk but the US outlook is basically good

China quarantined the entire city a week after it was reported in early jan. The quarantined most of the country 2 weeks after that.
Why didn’t the market go downhill then? Why didn’t the media cover it so fervently then? By that point outbreaks were already starting all across the globe.

Since this is, essentially, SARS 2.0, we're actually going to chuckle about this hysteria by the 4th of July - maybe sooner.
Posted on 2/26/20 at 8:36 pm to Magician2
Italy had like two cases before this weekend and they have almost 500 now.
I agree the media is overreacting but the markets have pretty much tuned out the media since the election. There's legit reason to worry at this point that this spreads enough across the globe to affect the economy.

Because now the globalists have decided to weaponize it against Trump. First Rosenstein’s kid sister, and now Yellen.

This Coronavirus has killed nearly 3 times as many people in 8 weeks as SARS did in 8 months...so yeah pretty much the same thing

If we are, expect the dems to be wiggling like a fish on a hook, but on a much shorter line, about what to do to disrupt Trump and his economy.

The Yellowstone volcano could trash the economy as well.
If that happened to happen at the same time as the coming Zombie Apocalypse we'd be done. The Zombies always go for the brains. We would know how to fix the economy without the brains.

That’s fewer than the average rotovirus outbreak on a Carnival Cruise.

Dems and media are not letting a political hit job go to waste even if it means costing the U.S. a vibrant economy. By any means necessary.
Must get Trump, Barr, and team out of office.

Keep hoping and praying that a virus will kill a bunch of people and tank the economy so you can get rid of the bad orange man. This will go the way of the rest of your Drumph is going to kill us all predictions.
