Calling witnesses only hurts the Dems, it’s a no win for them. McConnell is probably saying this to get the Dems to vote against witnesses

Knowing the GOP, they'll vote for witnesses yet won't call Hunter, Joe, Schiff, or the whistleblower.

Hard to change when your on the same team.
Romney is milking this thing dry and Graham could give a shite either way.
Turtle might care, but he will probably keep majority.
They can hide behind just enough GOP enthusiasm to keep solid seats and enough doubt to leverage others.
Fvck that place and those people!
They use the American people.

Absolutely, 100%. What is Shiftys reason for NOT regarding, to this point? (Atkinson's testimony)

Never underestimate the ability of the GOP to appease Democrats.

I wish trump would break off and start his own party. I hate these republican cuck swamp monsters.

He basically has already. You’re part of it.

This is why we need to disengage from this for a moment and get Bernie nominated. If the Rinocrat corporatists remove Trump from office we need a spare club to beat them with.

So there will be litigation now over Executive Privilege which means that Trump will still be under impeachment in November.
Yes, and this is exactly what the Dems need -- Trump under Impeachment proceedings on Election Day 2020.

Rick Scott just told FOX there won't be witnesses.
I saw that too. I hope he's right.

I keep seeing this about Schiff and the whistleblower. What possible relevance do they have as witnesses? They have no knowledge on what Trump did vis a vis Ukraine.

Witnesses -- Trump didn't do anything impeachable -- stays in office, no removal
**OR**
No Witnesses -- Trump didn't do anything impeachable -- stays in office, no removal
Same result either way, but which are you for??

The vulnerable seats are vulnerable regardless and Mitt has 5 more years and could retire at his age.
I wouldn't put it past them to be cucks

Best way to defeat impeachment is to reelect, lol

Who knows, retirement might be much more unpleasant in such a scenario.

It would destroy his impeachment inquiry work. It would show the collusion with the WB, leaking of classified phone conversation details, and put a black mark on the reputation of those involved in the impeachment inquiry. It would probably not look good to show obvious bias and gross errors/mischaracterizations akin to the FBI-mueller scandal.
Schiff has lied continuously about having evidence of Russian collusion, OMB, type things. I suspect this is no different.

Witnesses will drag this farce out, which unfortunately has already been legitimized.
Witnesses will also bury the dems. Doesn't matter who is called. This won't go well for them.

That’s why the senate needs to dismiss without hearing from witnesses now.
Let the dems know the senate would happily put on a witness trial if the house actually had any real evidence that support actual impeachable offenses. But until then they will not be used to help cheat in the 2020 election.

WSJ is correct. Chad confirmed Turtle does not have the votes.
For those of you fools that have hard on's for witnesses thinking it will be fair and will exonerate Trump and call out the bad guys...
