I doubt they will come to an agreement. McConnell will display a willingness to call witnesses but it will need to include Biden’s, Schiff, and whistleblower.
The Dems won’t agree to that and then Mitch will get the votes needed and call it a day.

The hardliners like Hawley, Blackburn, Cruz and Rand will make the moderates justify such a position by offering up amendments for Biden, Whistleblower, Schiff and son and not even McConnell can protect them from that.
The moderates should've gone with McConnell's position of no witnesses and just flush this farce down the toilet. So much easier and painless that way.
