It’s messy for the man and his family but given his position and obligations to the American people it’s a really low bar to show you are alive and alert - heaven forbid able to do your job.
It was demoralizing watching the left play the game, and is likewise today.

It was wrong when dems propped up Robert KKK Byrd, DiFi, and Brandon. And it’s wrong for establishment Republicans to do the same with McConnell.

Because honestly I’m not sure what else we are supposed to do besides spread the sentiment that this shouldn’t be normal and this isn’t acceptable- and do it across party lines.
I know it wouldn’t be particularly fair to start caring now, but it should be a big deal to the people - the media should be our watchdog right now- and his peers should fear covering it up.
