Time does have a way of forming one's perspective.

I can easily think of three American politicians who pose a greater threat to our freedoms that the ones you listed.

Romanticizing about what some people would have liked to have done isn’t official US foreign policy
Not romantic, just a different set of rules coming out of World War II
The guys you never see working the backdoors to keep the peace. This worked in the past because both the Russian's and Chinese had the "visible" leader like Stalin or Mao but actually worked of 3 separate but equally powerful legs. The difference between the Red Russia and Red China of the past is in the past few years the visual leaders of both countries have been "vanishing" the other 2 legs so no checks and balances of power. Backdoors that have been open since the transfer of White Russia to Red Russia are disappearing at an alarming rate.
If we are to stand tall as a country we need to quit blaming / bickering with each other in childish "slap" fights and unite to defeat the real enemies outside of our borders.

Sad that some want a major conflict to occur that will cost American lives and burn billions of dollars.

I know you are the internet tough guy but pretty sure you could not fight your way out of a paper bag. Been in a whole lot of scrapes in my life with the scars to show for it. You use words like Neocons because that is the pablum you have been fed that turned your brain to mush. I was forged in the crucible of folks that survived from 1900 to 1945. I am hard and tough as a coffin nail so your jabs and trolling are wasted on me.

I just love how every liberal on the board is so war happy and have been brainwashed by their dictators that we need to be the worlds bully in chief!
I hate how God fearing taxpaying US citizens have been brainwashed by both sides to throw shade and blame on the other side instead of working together to take on all comers united, not divided.

The more I realize what our leaders have been doing, the more I realize that some other countries have reason to have beef with the USA.
Churchill knew he needed an oil Navy to beat the Huns and all that coal in the UK would not beat the speed of oil. In a few short years (and with the help of the US via Standard Oil) we disclaimed a 3,000 year old civilization to recognize a bunch of wandering nomads for the oil concessions. The Anglos wiped out the Persian Empire and replaced with the House of Saud so they have every right to be pissed at us in the Middle East.

We have been playing king makers and starting wars like throwing a weekend party.
I agree 100% but it has been at least a century or more not just the past generation. To make matters worse we trained the guys to do out bidding then were shocked when they turned on us and became the new enemy. I guess the difference between pre 1950's and post 1950's is the change from people with faces to corporations without faces.

Until you e been to the front lines, nobody should loosely be talking like this.
I was raised by men who served including an Uncle who survived the "Death March" and one who served in "The Hump". My old man was one of the last calvary guys (horses not armor) and told stories of Africa that I never saw in books. Had cousins serving in Asia with some Silver and Bronze when they returned. Military service is one of the family businesses when called.
That being said, given the choice, they would all adopt Sun Tzu and win before ever having to fight. That takes long term strategic planning and continuity of leadership that far outlasts the 4 to 8 years a POTUS serves.

A coward and bully who attended military school yet had Daddy get him out when it came time to serve. If you really can not tell the difference between IKE and DJT, we have probably already lost.

If I did not believe in laws making us civilized, 3 bullets would solve a lot of problems.
Red Russia leader = 1 bullet
Red China leader = 1 bullet
Yankee Korea = 1 bullet
Whole more effect and cost effective than war
Actually, we need to clean up the few hundreds of federal positions in each branch of government and 3 letter agencies. Those who have not acted in the best interest of the red white and blue. Rid the federal government of globalist first politicians. Would solve a bunch of problems.
Get back to being a constitutional republic and quit trying to transition to a democracy.

No you haven’t. You make up shite on a message board to try and sound tough. Joe Biden tries to sound tough too and your tough guy act is as believable as his

They literally called themselves Neoconservatives. Neocon is simply short for that.

I am a moderate (or old school IKE Republican if that is easier to understand), always have been, see no need to change now.

Biden sounds like Mr Rodgers, if you really think I sound like that you are a fool. If you are too young to understand what is said by the older folks on here, I get it. You have nothing in your safe and easy life to compare it to. Since the 50's it has been very easy compared to the 1st 50 years of the last century.
DJT is outrageous so gets lots of hits in an era of outrageous
Biden is boring at best, not exactly Mr Excitement.
