Remember his wife works in the White House as as comms director and he himself is President of the CPAC.

Did Jeff Flake write the anonymous NYT hit piece?

Arizona must be so proud of their two “Republican” Senators.

I heard Rubio was also pandering for the camera. Flake is leaving, who GAF what his TDS self thinks?

Infuriating
Flake may be gone in a few months but this is where being a lame duck and all of the political freedom that comes with it gets really deadly to his party.
Lame ducks are not accountable to anyone, not the voters and not the party.

Doesn't matter how much you hate him, He still has an actual, live, and breathing senate vote and he will use it to frick us over just to get back at Trump if the opportunity presents itself.
And that's what he's doing right now.

Grassley is doing his best to appease the republican women....

Stark contrast between Flake and McCain, as opposed to Ted Cruz last night on the question of working with the President. Cruz understands he is there to do the voters of Texas's work, rather than being childish and hung up on petty squabbles.

Committee assignments are a privilege, not a right.
Bump his arse off the Committee today and replace him with someone else. Load up the whole ducking Committee with people who have stones. Why the frick do we always have to deal with this?

The GOP in Washington is always full of people who don't want to rock the boat and stick to the status quo. And that mindset is even worse in a slow moving and deliberative body like the senate. It's their nature to be cowardly.

What’s wrong with Jon Kyl?

Actually it's just one they're ashamed of.
McCain is gone. Good riddance.
Jon Kyl replaced him, he's the one the White House hired to be Kav's sherpa and he's the fricking man!!! Not only will he vote to confirm Kav, he will vote like an actual conservative on other issues instead of like the fraud McCain.

It only takes a few to ruin it. Does this change anyone’s opinion on Kavanaugh’s chances of getting confirmed? Or is the consensus still 100%?

Arizona is a shithole. Voting for Flake and McCain?? SAD!

You are actually what you complain about. An establishment Republican, tied to a party, and without any understanding of policy or strategy.
Your instinct has proven to be flawed.
You would do well being on a Republican central committee.

I voted against John McCain and Mitt Romney in 2008 and 2012 and voted for Rand Paul in the 2016 primaries long after he dropped out.
You can frick off with calling me GOPe.
